Job Description

37.5 Hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Contracts and Compliance manager to join the Facilities Directorate based in the Estate Management department at St Mary’s Hospital.

Responsible for the systematic identification, recording, evaluation of risks arising from non-compliance with statutory legislation relating to the built environment.

This would include interpretation of the current and any new legislative changes including the development of Technical, Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Operational manager for external contracts to include clinical waste, general waste, security, residences, laundry and car parking to include contract preparation, negotiation, performance monitoring (financial and quality) and dealing with complaints in relation to any of the services in an appropriate and timely manner.

NHS experience would be beneficial with a good understanding of Health Technical memorandum and Health Building note and be qualified to degree level in engineering and a member of a relevant professional body.
