2gether NHS Foundation Trust is continually enhancing and developing the way it supports staff in the delivery of services. This is especially so in the Property Department. To this end we are expanding our Property Department by recruiting to the post of Security and Fire Officer. The post holder will work closely with the Health and Safety Advisor in the Human Resources Department.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Officer who has an existing specialism in Fire or Security who would like to undertake training and development in the other discipline.
The post holder will be required to train staff, develop policies & procedures and undertake risk assessments, so if you do not have Fire or Security experience a Health & Safety background may be considered.
It will be a requirement of the postholder that they undertake training and pass the qualification as a Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS) in the first 12 months. This will be financed by the Trust.
The Post is on a Band 6, normally starting at 24,831 rising to £33,436 with service.
Closing Date will be the 21st July, with an interview on the 11th August.
