Job Description
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
Due to promotion a vacancy exists for the post of Head of Facilities.
A key challenge is the continuing modernisation of our in-house cleaning service with, an aim to develop and enhance the service. Excellent working relationships with infection control and matrons are required.
The Trust is also reviewing its patient meals service to develop a long-term investment strategy. In the short term, the Trust is to open a major catering outlet within our redeveloped front concourse and achieving the business plan for this is a key deliverable.
We are a Foundation Trust with a turnover of £160M and we have a strong sense of local community and a wish to develop this agenda including local food procurement alongside our own sustainability agenda.
You will need to be able to live with a fast pace of working and to be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
