Job Description

We are currently recruiting to the role of Interim Policy Manager - Capital, Estates & Facilities.

As Interim Policy Manager - Capital, Estates & Facilities you will lead on the development, coordination, organisation and management of all policies, procedures and like documents for Capital, Estates & Facilities Directorate (CEF) and act as the lead for the directorate on NHSLA and other policy related work in the Trust. Ideally you will be educated to degree level (or be able to demonstrate equivalent understanding) and will have previous NHS policy experience, preferably with knowledge of Estates & Facilities.

• To identify all existing policies and other documentation currently in force throughout CEF
• To identify any further documentation which might be required for good practice and to comply with NHSLA and other accreditation and licensing
• To ensure, through appropriate consultation, that all documentation reflects business needs, legislation and guidance and best practice
• To work with relevant teams to develop and action implementation plans, including stakeholder consultation and appropriate approvals for agreed policies and documentation
• To maintain and develop partnerships with the Trust’s central Policy team, and other internal and external stakeholders as appropriate.
• To develop, report and disseminate appropriate audit reports and performance results to promote continuous improvement
• To develop, facilitate and deliver training events and presentations on designated topics
