Job Description
We are currently recruiting to the role of Interim Waste Manager for an NHS Trust in London. As Interim Waste Manager you will work within the Estates directorate and be the lead on all waste management issues. Ideally, you will have experience of dealing with clinical and/or radiological waste and have worked in the NHS previously.
• Responsible for the management and enforcement of hazardous waste policies
• Ensure that clinical, radiological and other hazardous waste are properly disposed of according to local and national guidelines
• Responsibility for training and educating Trust staff on waste management issues
• Introduction of new and revised policies pertaining to waste management
