Lincolnshire hospitals plan cancer outreach sessions

Cancer information and advice will be available to more people with the launch of a new service by Lincolnshire’s hospitals.
Members of the Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service working within United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust are currently looking at setting up new workplace outreach sessions.
These monthly sessions will be held in workplaces across Lincolnshire to offer information, advice and support to those who have questions about cancer.
Macmillan Information and Support Services Lead for ULHT, Caroline Boyer, said: "Our sessions are typically around three hours and we would like to visit a different workplace each month. We are keen to take the information service out to workplaces as we realise that working age people may not have the opportunity to access our hospital information centres during weekdays when they are open."
