A report from the BBC says the Welsh government is planning a publicity blitz to help people understand why they support changes to the NHS.

The new system for organising services for vulnerable children is "confused and fragmented", according to the BBC.

“Diabetes could ‘bankrupt’ the NHS in 20 years,” the Daily Mail has reported. The newspaper said that most spending on the condition is due to avoidable complications. Several other newspapers featured similar claims, saying that by 2035 a sixth of NHS funding will be spent on the disease.

Delays to the discharge of NHS patients from hospitals have surged by more than 25 percent in the past 19 months, indicating that cuts to support for older people are infact driving up costs for the NHS, a report from the Independent states.
